The 2nd Workshop of the Joint Action on Respiratory Viruses by ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases will take place on December 2-3, 2024, in Paris.

A virtual access to the workshop is also available.

This year, the workshop is organized over two days, featuring 5 scientific sessions and 2 keynotes from international speakers.

The workshop will cover a broad range of topics on respiratory viruses, including pathophysiology, therapeutic aspects, and public health.

The main themes addressed will be:

• Influenza, including highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI)
• RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus)
• SARS-CoV-2
• Respiratory viruses and immunosuppression
• Metapneumovirus, PIV 1-3
• Health communication during crises

The workshop will start on December 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM, and will conclude in the late afternoon of December 3. A cocktail dinner will be organized on the evening of December 2.

Registration is free but mandatory.

The Joint Action on Respiratory Viruses by ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases (ANRS MIE) was established in 2022, following the various REACTing working groups and then ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases groups on COVID-19.

The CA on Respiratory Viruses, coordinated by Karine Lacombe and Edouard Lhomme, primarily serves to foster scientific collaboration and support innovative research projects in the field of respiratory viruses, with the aim of submitting them to various research funding calls.

The event is funded by ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases.
